"I was born the same year as the number of my Foster Cue". It was no coincedence that this client jumped on the last 2 numbers in his birth date when Doug reached #56 in his production. At the time of this writing, (January 5, 2007) #62 is open. If Doug wants to own his birth year number, he better jump on it. So what better birthday present to give yourself than ordering the best Doug has to offer? Doug considers the Foster # 56 perhaps the most beautiful piece he has made to date. The client chose in my opinion, the best materials: mammoth ivory points, snakewood forearm, burl wrap featuring stunning swirl patterns and the now famous hex butt design accented with mammoth ivory & snakewood panels framed in ebony. What is particulary stunning about this cue is the quality of the snakewood grain. This was the best grained snakewood that Doug had which he had been holding on to for a few years. |
